This volume, which represents the twenty-eighth edition of the Italian Banking Association Report on the Labour Market in the Financial Industry, was prepared by Gianfranco Torriero, Stefano Bottino and an Italian Banking Association working group, with input from the fol- lowing units: Trade Union Relations and Welfare, Labour Assistance and Consultancy, Social Affairs and Labour Policies, Research and the European Banking Report (EBR) Observatory.
Chapter 4 was prepared with the valuable contribution of the Banking Committee for European Social Affairs established within the frame- work of the European Banking Federation and Deloitte Consulting. In illustrating their experience, European banks and foreign banking asso- ciations facilitated the preparation of Chapter 7.
Gianfranco Torriero
